About
Just because this is all about introductions, I will introduce half of Team Pear Place. My name is Michelle Jensen. I grew up Michelle Johnson in small rural Clover, UT. I am in my mid-thirties and I have experienced my share of life to this point. I think my life experiences might have contributed to the reason why I see value in perhaps not the likely places. I have happened upon such a great opportunity and it certainly isn't by chance. I want to share a few pictures to show what I LOVE!!!
I know there are visionaries out there like me. While it is awesome to have the vision, it is a lot of hard work to make that vision a reality. Hard Work! Luckily we have renovated our fair share of houses and properties so maybe that makes the hard work a little easier? Because we have experienced a beginning, middle and ending. We know the ending will eventually come. The trick to taking on a HUGE undertaking is to divide the big overwhelming problem into small manageable problems. We are in the midst of doing just that. I have tried to take pictures along the way with all of those past projects. However, this project's pictures are for some reason so captivating to me!!! I just can't get over the tattered beauty.
With two kiddos (one pictured above) our little family is ready to get our hands dirty and fix up this cute Place! First things first, we are cleaning the space. There are a lot of things that need to be removed to allow for safe things, necessary things, structural things, design things to be added/renovated/replaced. I have a clear plan of what I want to happen. All the while I am keeping in mind that these plans are going to be tweaked. It is inevitable. The path to success is not as fixed and inflexible as you may think... rings completely true. Trust me.
This property has changed hands over it's time and demo was started. We are entering at this point. For us it is a good point. I know that there might have been more that I would have salvaged but that is okay. There is still plenty left to save and that is a great thing! At our Pear Place we have four spaces to renovate. It helps a little to have a little work already underway.
For now I hope this is a good greeting and that we will meet again.
